Activities of AETIN During October 2015

During this particular period, there have been new and interesting developments regarding trades, conferences, and businesses in and with Vietnam..

Firstly due to the dedication and commitment of the involved parties, the AEC (ASEAN Economic Community) will finally be effective end of 2015.

Secondly, the European Union and Vietnam have successfully began to launch an agreement on Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and Vietnam has also concluded negotiations with all eleven countries for the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). As a result, all of these agreements will provide positive impacts on the trade and investment relation between Vietnam and the countries involved, including the Netherlands.

Lastly, in October 2015, the oil and gas industry in the region of Asia will meet in Ho Chi Minh city at the Vietnam Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference, which is conducted once in every two years.

With support from RVO (Dutch government Agency for enterprise) and Dutch Embassy in Hanoi, we will organize the following activities.

1. Vietnam Oil and Gas, Conference & Exhibition 2015 at Holland Pavilion

The participants in Holland Pavilion this year are a.o.: Shell, NEM Energy, VDL Klima, WW Eurovalves, Opra Turbines, Badotherm, HMSA, Esme Marine, VCT and AMET

2. Special Tour at the VOG2015

The Dutch delegation will visit stands and stalls of the key players at VOG2015 to meet their decision makers.

3. ‘Dutch Advanced Offshore Technology’ Seminar

Sponsor companies have opportunities to make company presentation (15 minutes/ company) for a selected audience of 50-60 people at senior and executive level.

Maximum 4 companies will be selected to do presentation

4. Networking reception

5. AETIN Energy Trade Mission

This is a tentative program and the final program will be made beginning of September, after receiving feedback from participants about their wishes.

24/10          Morning: Briefing program of trade mission.

                   Afternoon: sightseeing in Hochiminh city

                   Evening: transfer to Vung Tau

25/10         Breakfast on the beach in Vung Tau and discussion about planning for 2016.

                  Afternoon: drinks with invitees in the oil and gas industry

26/10         Visits toVietsovpetro, PTSC Shipyard and Long Son Petrochemical

27/10         Visits to AlphaECC and back to Hochiminh City

28/10         Visits to Technip, PremierOil, ExxconMobil, Cuu Long JOC, PTCS,PV Engineering.

Optional program

28/10         17.30 transfer to Tan San Nhat airport (Hochiminh City)

                  20.10-21.30 Flight Hochiminh City – Danang, transfer to hotel Hoang Mai in Dung Quat.

29/10         Visits to Dung Quat Refinery and Petrovietnam Shipyard

                  17.30 end of program in Dung Quat

                  Transfer from Dung Quat to airport in Danang or to Furama hotel

30/10         Visits to relevant companies in Danang. 15.00 end of program.
